All cementitious materials depend on proper cure to ensure the performance of its properties. The cure avoids excessive evaporation of water and loss of strength, reducing the occurrence of cracks caused by shrinkage. The Denver Imper products for curing mortars, concretes and grautes are suitable to the elements of the building (structure, tiles, floors etc.) and also for other types of work such as pavements, canals, bridges, dams and precast industry. They can even be applied to large structures exposed to the sun.
The durability of concrete forms (wood, plastic or metal) depends on a well maintained unmolding. Use products that facilitate the removal and protect the components, without staining or damaging the concrete, especially if it is to receive paint or become apparent. The Denver Imper has biodegradable and non-toxic products that do not contaminate the concrete or harm the environment.
The permeability and capillary absorption of concrete and mortars bring serious risks to the buildings. The problem can be minimized with the addition of hydrophobic additives. They are used for waterproofing foundation walls or added to coating mortars and subfloors of humid, blocks and bricks cement mortar (to prevent rising moisture) and concrete parts subject to high humidity.
Soil is highly susceptible to moisture attack. To avoid problems difficult to treat in the future, it is highly recommended that you waterproof baldrames and foundations of reinforced concrete, walls in direct contact with the ground and also bibs, tanks, drains and emerging tubes. Also deserve care: tanks, gutters (even galvanized) metal structures and wood exposed to the weather. Besides the additive and the waterproof ink, in this situation a very efficient system is the waterproof polymer mortar. It forms a layer that acts as a barrier against moisture, either by contact or by pressure.
Curtains, galleries, reservoirs, ponds, pools and other structures subjected to infiltration of ground water need proper treatment . The same goes for leaks and jets of water under pressure in basements and elevator shafts. For such situations, the Denver Imper has a complete system composed of products that form a waterproofing layer and offer excellent adhesion at the same moist substrate; they resist to positive or negative hydrostatic pressures and, in addition to mortars for buffering, act as an hydraulic blocker.
Denver Imper offers epoxy and polyester base adhesives for anchoring bars and metal bolts and also for bonding different materials to each other and to the concrete, such as reinforced concrete or mortar, ceramic, glass, ??metals, ornamental stones, wood, etc. These adhesives can also act as high-performance bonding bridge for bonding fresh concrete or mortar over the existing concrete and rebuilding sections subjected to tensile stress.
